Science Kit Rental Terms
For schools or districts using kits for the first time, CIBL recommends
a trial rental at a subsidized cost, with training, and no future obligation.

- Grades K-5: 9-week science kit trial rental with training- $285
- Grades 6-7: 9-week science kit trial rental with training - $515
- Grade 8: 9-week science kit trial rental with training - $575
After trying kits for a year in this way, the school district might want to assure that teachers have rental kits for several years to come. A school district administrator can begin the process by completing and submitting our online Bid Request Form. The form specifies how many kits of each title the district will need over 3 years. CIBL will use this information to return a cost estimate.
Science Kit Rental Features: Grades K-5
Each grade K-2 kit* *serves one teacher and up to 26 students.
Each grade 3-5 kit* *serves one teacher and up to 30 students.
CIBL ships each kit directly to the teacher’s school with the teacher's name on the box. Teachers keep kits for 9 weeks, then teacher repack the kit minus consumables and ships it back to CIBL using a pre-paid FedEx label.
Textbook Supplement Rental Features: Grades 6-8
Each grade 6-8 textbook supplement serves one teacher and up to 125 students.
CIBL ships each textbook supplement directly to the teacher’s school. The teacher will have the materials for 9 weeks. At the end of the 9-week rental cycle, the teacher repacks the materials (minus consumables used) in the shipping container supplied, and ships it back to CIBL using a pre-paid FedEx label.
