What is Inquiry?
Inquiry is one among many kinds of learning that students can experience in school. Students learn by inquiry when they are in the role of investigator – observing, questioning, posing explanations, testing ideas, analyzing information, drawing logical conclusions, or building models.
Inquiry-based teaching is a tool for teachers who want to develop students' capacity to think for themselves. For teachers who want to adapt situations for individual needs, it is also a good way to understand how a specific student thinks about a particular problem.
